For years I have used a length of speedo cable inserted in turn into each of the open ends of the fuel lines and spun with a power drill, then blow out with air and flush with clean fuel before replacing.
hi guys, my 110 has had fuel pump issues as some may have seen in the Isuzu sub forum due to low grade bio diesel used by a former owner... the time has come for a clean of the system from top to toe now the pump is off and under repair - so how would you clean the lines? compressed air? petrol rinse?
in-situ? or remove?
for the tanks, the plan is to remove, clean by radiator shop (ultrasonic bath) and refit...

to clean the tanks rinse them with fresh water then blow them out with warm/hot air chuck in a couple of hadfulls of 5mm bluemetal some water then roll the tank around a bit drain it out, rinse it dry it again and fill it with clean fresh diesel and some diesel snot killer.

well the vehicle is home and in the morning the lines will be cleaned and the tanks too.... hopefully there is not too much fuel in em to get rid of!
