It is a tricky thing, where do you draw the line, when does advertising become spam?

Personally, I think multiple items for sale should all be listed in one post, and one post limit per user per day (just in the markets/alerts section) anything else could be treated as spam.
That being said, perhaps the forum software can't automatically restrict this?

    My 2c

    Cheers,

It is a work in progress that Incisor is still playing with. But bottomline for now is that it's helping pay for the site

    But yes agreed... sorta annoying

And apparently he doesn't want friends either.

Good that it is helping pay for the site. I could almost put up with it for that reason.

    ...almost.

    Hi,
I would have no issues if it was one post headed "Links to lots of stuff for sale" or similar, but to spam the forum with pages of headers, each leading to one link is a bit over the top.
The times are all similar, so the operation must be scripted, it is not as if it was all hand typed in.
    cheers

Is it a little wierd that I actually felt a little pang of guilt then?

Note to self: Computers don't have feelings. (or friends)
