    foaming diesolene

is it just that I've recently noticed it or is diesel fuel foaming more when filling your tank? even on really low flow the pump clicks off, the neck is full of foam and If I hold the nozzle at very low flow I can add sometimes an extra 10 litres or more. the servo is a freedom one and the diesel is a bio of some mix....dunno what but its only recently I've paid any attention to the foaming and of course adding 10-15 litres gives me another 100-150km/tank. is anyone the wiser?

Always been the case, try filling 6 x 450 litre tanks, one tends to walk a fair distance, round the truck and back a few times.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

And then you've got all the splaters on those nicely polished tanks to deal with

Seems to be more in the nozzle of the bowser than anything. The Shell in town has a diesel pump that froths the diesel worse than most.It varys between batches too.

I think it varies a lot from batch to batch - I can remember noticing this when I first got the County sixteen years ago!
