I have one of those old fashioned D shaped closed loop military style ones if you want it for the weekend, i'm in Carlingford so not too far away. Not sure if the bolt holes will suit your chassis though.
PM me if it may suit.

G'day Guys , I'll be going to Stockton beach this weekend for the clean-up Australia day , and just realised I don't have recovery points in front of the rangie and Just wondered if anyone here has a spare Recovery Hook I could Borrow and Bolt up to the Rangie Just for this weekend and once I've sourced one from somewhere for a permanant recovery point/s then I can Bolt them up.
If you have a spare recovery point let me know.

A mob called "Outbck Ideas" used to sell RRC compatible recovery points, but I don;t know if they are still around - can;t find a link for them...
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

A simple option here is a 3m long 6x36 16mm wire rope sling (3 tonnes) with aluminium ferrules and thimble eyes from your local Bullivants store.
.:: Sling Details ::. scroll down to "wire Slings"
attach each end respectively to the bolts holding the radius arm to the front axle (you may have enough meat on the bolt to simply place the thimble over the existing bolt and secure with a large washer and extra nut...else you may need to use a longer bolt.
In the middle of the sling, form a loop and clamp it to size using a proper wire U-bolt clamp. attach a rated D-shackle through the loop... the effect is akin to pulling a billy cart out of a bog with the steering rope
I use(d) a 1.5 tonne breaking strain rope to extract my P38 which was axle deep in sand ...NO snatch straps... just firm constant pulling and it lifts the truck out with far less effort. all up less than $100 and it weighs less than 2 kg and sits in a bag with the spare.
