I dont know whether they do or not ?

This one that the chicken uses, was bought in sydney back in the seventies. A Hecla brand I think it was. Its still going great and she is quite comfy when the temperature drops below 20 degrees !!!

I'll have to find some sort of heating that I can use in a tent because she wants to be the first Lorikeet to cross the Simpson. She has't seen the Gunbarrel yet eiher.
All the other trips will be okay because you can have diesel heating in the Kedron caravan., she doesn't sleep naked but I do.

    Cheers.

    Cheers.

Try the Coleman Blackcat Catalytic tent heater. Takes a screw on cartridge. Used one of these in the camper trailer August during my trip to WA. great bit of gear.

Should be about $90 for the heater. With cartridges being between $7.50 and $9.50, depends where you buy them. A cartidge will usually last overnight running high for about 2 hours to bring the temperature down and then low the rest of the night.

Of course but when you are in separate sleeping bags they don't work too well.

Kero is for sale in Chickenfeed, along with Metho, Turps and Shellite.
Usually much cheaper than camping outlets.
