    Talking Help Phoenix Buy a Discovery. Melbournites help needed!

    Ok, So I've found a discovery that seems to tick the boxes in melbourne. I cheekily sent SWMBO an e-mail and she wants me to check it out

    It is listed as being in South melbourne. Is anybody in that area able to give it a test drive some time for me to see if it's worthwhile?

    Ok, so for those interested.

    it's a manyual 300 tdi with 195,000 on the clock. due for a timing belt replacement by my figuring, so a few dollars for that.

    I have a mobile that I can get the guy on and the car can be tested weeknights, and maybe the weekend. If somebody could look sooner rather than later i'd appreciate it.

    See where he works, and if he drives it to work, maybe I could meet him during his lunch if it's not too far away?
