It's not me, Frank Stanton, Regards Frank.
G day mates,
I am trying to get in touch with an old friend of mine.
In 2004/2005 I and some friends have spend a year in Australia.
We bought a red 110 county and drove about 45000km trough the country.
At the end of this trip we sold the vehicle to a guy from Sydney. His name is Stanton.
We met eachother on the Landrovers Owners Club Australia meeting near Sydney.
I added some photos.
The Blue Series III was his vehicle.
Over the years I lost his details (I have moved from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to a small place in Germany).
He had an email adress at opusnet if I remember right. Every now and then he writes me (christmas was the last time, I had heared from him). When I try to write back, the message doesn't get transferred. I tried to contact his provider about it, but no respones at all.
I would love to get his (new?) email adress or homeadress, so I can get in touch with him.
Would be great if someone knows Stanton.
ps. here some pictures of my trip: Land Rover :: Fotopic.Net

Hey Guys,
this is very strange!
I tried to contact someone else in Australia. I get the same msg.

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
x@optusnet.com.au
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 553 553 5.3.0 <x@optusnet.com.au>... No such user (state 14).
I have tried to send messages from different email providers and also from diffent homeadresses. Has anyone an explenation for this?
I suspect that it could be one of two things;
the account is no longer active and the recipient host is not able to find a mail box to deliver to, or
the account has not been cleared and the mailbox is full
both are usually as a result of an innactive account due to non payment.
I find this strange, because I replyed on their mail just one day after I got it. They have send me 2 mails since..
So the account is still active.
I get a simmilar msg when I tried to mail another person in Australia.
Even if I mail him from my Dutch email account (from a PC in the Netherlands) or with my Gmail account from a diffrent PC in Germany.
I have no explenation for this...
