Well we had a look at a few today including the SS V8 dunnydore wagon

It's so hard to find something for us that can tow, have load space and be comfortable and really needs to be 4X4.

No landy dealers in Mudgee so had a look at various Holden models including the re badged Daewoo, Low Lux,Nissan Navara and Mitsu's products.

So far we have come up with the new GLX-R Triton 4X4. Not bad.... Has all the gizmo's including stability control, air bags in the B pillars etc.
The new 2.5 feels a bit lacking under 2400 RPM, the rear windows make a horrible buffering noise if wound down at 100ks and the driver door has a stupid long rest that holds window switches ets that sits against your leg. May be annoying over time.

Other wise drives and rides and handles very well. Has plenty of punch in the mid rev range for a 2.5.
Come in at around 48K on the road Then add 5K for the extras.. Bull bar,Rear bar, canopy, Tyres and dual battery set up.

    Fugly isn't it

I'm more than happy with my old MJ but with the wife and kids traveling up and down to Sydney on their own I think we should update soon for safety and reliability.

My wife likes the new baby Rangie LRX but not available yet to look at.

At this stage we are keeping the Rangie and the 120 so still part of the family if we go this way

Been doing more preparation and painting around the house today, plus while waiting between coats have been getting the outside of the garage ready for a revamp. I'm knackered atm! More of the same tomorrow! LOL!

Bloody hell! your shed could blow away now Thats a lot of junk in a given area. In comparison I'm going to need a few B Doubles to clear it all here!
