    New M-ATV arrives in Southern Afghanistanby Spc. Elisebet Freeburg, Joint Sustainment Command-Afghanistan, PAOKANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan-The first Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All-Terrain Vehicles (M-ATV) designated for Southern Afghanistan arrived Oct. 22 by air transport.

    I like it how its a Mine "Resistant", not Mine Proof.

    Those tyres would be the first to render the vehicle useless in an attack wouldnt they?

    I do recon that it would be a very cool set of wheels to drive the kids to school in, and to use for doing the grocery shopping. those who are trying to bann 4wds from dropping kids at school would love to see you turn up in this.
