    DO35 Hitchmaster

    Anybody using these relatively new hitches (D035)? They look the business! Im thinking this or the AT35.

    DO35 Hitchmaster

    There were no responses a year or so ago but I'm wondering whether anyone has now used this hitch or the OzHitch and have any comments on their performance and ease of hitching up.

    Not personally, but I know several people who have fitted this hitch. The primary objective being an easier hitch up on uneven ground, or with the vehicle and trailer/caravan at extreme angles to each other. In all cases the owners report the hitching of the trailer/caravan under such conditions, is massively improved over Tregg hitches and the like.

    AFAIK one of the mags tested a camper traile rfitted with one and complained that it got clogged with dust and became difficult to hitch.

    From my point of view with a RRC I had a look at the dimensions of the AT35 and found that if I have the tongue flipped as I do for ground clearance, all of these type of hitches are too high for the tailgate to clear while down.
    The only ones for RRC are the Bribane Trailer component ones or similar(like a sideways Treg)
