Love Robe but yet to drive the dunes down there. Hope it was a good outing.

Just got back from a four day weekend at Robe. I have never done sand driving before.
It was great fun.

I get there quite often
The dunes and beach south of Robe (Little Dip Nat Park) are great fun
but do catch out the unwary ..or over bold..
There are a few 4WDs that venture onto the beach and get a free wash
some of the sand is in drifts soft and deep.
Great spot but some caution needed below the high tide line....
cheers
Nobby
Here's a little bit of the action from the weekend.............

Crunch crunch crunch!
Wow vehicles do take a battering on sand dunes... interesting to see that. I only experienced this once on the west coast... every attempt to get over meant more revs and speed. I can see that it spirals into a broken part!

Soooooo jealous. Have had my disco in the sand heaps but havent had the defender in the soft stuff yet.
Not sure how the skinny LT tyres will do in the sand but looking forward to finding out.
