    Help can anyone tell me if my vehicle has a place to put a bolt for a child seat I have just bought the vehicle

    A search should bring up all the info you need. AFAIK you need to buy a bar which bolts in behind the rear seat.

    Defenders aren't classed as a passenger car, so don't have anchor points as standard.

    Another option is what I did, and incorporate the anchor points into a cargo barrier.
