Christmas Tree . When do you ?

Howdy Guys . My wife came home yesterday with new christmas decorations and is now in the mood to put the tree up now . Has anyone started to put lights up or starting to dust off the old tree ?

I'm guessing our tree will be up by the end of the week !

    SWMBO - say no more!

We always went and got a native pine somehwhere on the farm when I was growing up and that was always the weekend before Christmas day but no earlier than 5 days before ahnd (eg Wed if Christmas Day was a Sunday). That tradition has continued once I got married and had kids.

No Christmas tree in my house! If I have my way there never will be.

I spent last Christmas day working on my Rangie. Bliss!

The 23rd, of December that is, I ususally head to the woods with saw and axe, take the tree home and allow for the snow and ice to disappear. The 24rd is decoration day.
As soon as the children are old enough I won't sacrifice any tree anymore. They are much prettier out there in their natural habitat .

    Cheers
    Johannes

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
