Hi everyone, I stumbled across this site:
PhotoMaps by NearMap
It's just like Google Earth, but you can scroll back through time by looking at any available pictures of a photographed area.

MMMmmmm ...cant get it to load.
Must be too many aulro people on there
(BTW: Google earth does time scrolling)
This also provides oblique views from North, West, South and East so you can view sides of buildings and determine heights / relaitve heights. We started using it at work recently & its great. As far as I'm aware, the oblique views are only available in WA, but I understand they wil be updating al states in the near future. Check multiview tab of the maps.
WhoooHoooo
Check out the detail. Twice as good as Google Earth![]()
Not much good around Mildura!
"Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet!" -Roger Miller
Some good detail in some areas - I can see my car at work
not so easy to navigate as Google.
Terrible detail but I have always lived in the bush so I guess no one wants to look at isolated places
