    Prado 3 door

    OK, I was only looking.

Been thinking a new 90 would be nice. (with somewhere to put my manbag eh dobbo?)

Heard that Toyobota has a new Prado 3 door. (....MMmmm....my manbag and my makeup bag eh dobbo?.)

62 grand for the base model......ygtbfj!

    75 for the special one.

That would buy me a 90, some 22 inch wheels a makeup mirror and 3 years of botox.

    Toyobota are kidding themselves.

I read somewhere that there is a pull down mirror in front of the driver too, gotta check the makeup every now and then to make sure your metrosexual look is still okay......

There's a rather poorly written article on Drive.com.au about the test drive of the new Prado. Gave me the impression, they didn't want to bag it because "it's a Toyota". On the other hand they absolutely rave about how good it's wheel articulation is, must leave anything else on the market for dead.

$65K for a base model 3-door, how much is the bloody 5-door going to cost

I have a feeling the grey nomads will move away from the Prado as the vehicle of choice at those prices. Toyota really are pricing themselves out of the market.

I heard a news item today - Japanese are worried about the strength of the Yen - perhaps this has something to do with the prices! (They are still made in Japan aren't they?

They are still made in japan but the parts are made in Thailand. The top of the range Prado is $109,000 on road, the resale will be strong on the old models as people won't sell them. Pat
