Something I totally agree on. I've seen to many p plate drivers crashed to argue against it.

I believe WA is now getting fixed speed cameras to work alongside of the red-light cameras.

If you speed through some intersections now, like people do when they see an orange light, voila you're caught speeding from behind. :o

There is one on Leach Hwy heading towards Fremantle at the intersection of North Lake Rd. :eek2:

That could be it Craig. It looked a bit like a larger version of the white bodied fixed CCTV cameras we have in processing plants, mounted on a tripod only about 750mm off the ground. That'd explain why the radar detector never went off.
