I could put you onto a good mechanic who could do a conversion.Or are you refering to the Soozoo?

Yes Ian, Soozoo was fantastic with the auto behind it, but didn't last

Still wish I could do another conversion, using a 4HP24E and a compushift, but happy enough with the LT95 now...sort of....

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

The jeep I was in hung in well on the steep declines in the Kozieosko (NSW) ( sic I think) and Alpine(Vic) national Parks and they were very steep. I thought the Landy auto box was an excellent box No Probs with it?.

Surely there would be an auto available that could cope, was it a ZF that failed?

No probs, unless you stick it behind a bone shaker of a 4bd1T and push 450+ Nm through it

My biggest problem apart from breaking the 3 gearbags was the gearing wasn't low enough, even in low range and the torque at idle was imense, had trouble stopping it in drive in first low at idle

I'm very happy with my auto Tdi disco having owned both auto and manual.

The only disappointment is the absurd step between range D and 3 once over 80kmh. I've inquired [sic] about third gear lockup, but the mob is reluctant at 250 km without a full rebuild. Especially noticeable with larger tyres.
