how hot was the country estate?

was out at the country estate of the weekend, again

headed out there as usual looking to see if they have put the marker in for the
    $15,500 power pole from hell....

no marker.... but low and behold they put the pole in

    yeehaaa at last...

anyway it was a tad hot out there and my neighbor was kind enough to come along
and let me know that i was enjoying creosoting my property pole, to be, in 40
deg heat at 11:00 and that it would probably get to 42 or 44 before the day was
out.. he was pretty close to right i reckon.

about 16:30 a storm or 3 started to roll thru so the temp dropped to the low
twenties and we fired up the hi ace and started heading home.

all lovely till we descending the range just south of benarkin and heading
    towards moore

bloody hell! was like driving into an oven!

could not believe how hot it was there still at about 18:00, hope they got a
shower or too, felt like they deserved it!
