Poncy pricey but tasty burger place from Q'land coming to Mount Lawley com

Here in Perth expensive burgers with top quality patties and fresh grown greens seem to be popping up everywhere. There is Flipside and Jus Burgers down in Perth and another good one in Mundaring for example.

I've just heard that there is one opening on my local cafe strip but they are not from Perth; they are from Queensland.

Is there a niche group of burger makers in Brisbane that it might be?

I could always wait and see but I'd love to have the inside info on this because ummm, just because.

Let's hope Tassie learns about these too. It would make a change from 2 crusts & a pattie .

melbourne is loaded with them at the moment, seems to be the latest craze.
we have Grill'd and Urban Burger. and there's a new one opening in Glen Waverley but forget the name of it.

I'm a big fan of them, even thought it's still junky fast food, tastes a helluva lot better than Maccas/Hungry Jacks

Jus Burgers in Perth bake their buns on the premises and the patties are also big fresh testing beefy bvggers. The company policy is to use exclusively WA beef*. I'm not officially a big fan of these burger, I still support Flipside who pioneered the yuppy burger here in Perth but I respect what they are doing.

It's not rubbishy fast food if you're getting a quality meat patty (they don't just do beef). Fresh lettuce and tomato etc you can taste, homemade relish etc. it's actualyy quality tucker. But you do pay for it. Here in Perth where they think everyone is fly in fly out on $150k a year you expect to pay $12 for a burger; so for people like me it's a bit of a treat.

Anyway word on Beaufort Street is the Queenslanders are coming to teach us burgers!

*don't get me ranting about why Woolies and Coles truck killed and chilled beef (yak = Brahmin not even the asians will touch) across Australia from Queensland while farmers in the Sou-West can't get more that $1.50 a kilo for top quality grass fed british breed beef. What's with that?
