    I probably should have said "rust free examples in original condition." But not trying to put them down, twitchy. I've a real soft spot for Zukes, and I've looked at a few LJs to buy, but not found anything that wasn't riddled. I've had an SJ and I'd still own it except that it looked much too hard to get babies into the back!

    That's not a LJ80

    That's not a LJ80, it's a LJ81
    The LJ80 is the soft top, the LJ80V is the hard top and the LJ81 is the tray back.

    Hi Phil & Helen here, funnily enough we have an lj80 Suzuki (79 model) along with a few Land Rovers. For parts search Suzuki and look to the right hand side of your screen you may find some unusual parts. This is mostly applicable to us as Land Rover owners, hope this help

    The suzuki 4wd club in sydney has started restoring LJs. They have many of them restored to original are with the help of the lroc, have got a historic registration scheme going.

    I'm lucky enough to know of a LJ50V that is not only rust free it still has it's original bar treads.
