    It's not a new problem, I've had it on Series II and 1000 Morris Minors, on bitumen.

    my 06 defender did it I took it back to the dealer and they put in new mechanizisms and they are now good if they change the mechanizisms make sure they don't wreck the back of the door cards, they are dear to replace.
