    Mangos

    Guess what Fellas and Ladies,

For the first time in a lot of years , I look like getting a full load of mangos from my one tree.It looks like those disease ridden, crap producing vehicle paint removing, thieving flying foxes have moved on or maybe, one good thing, the drought has wiped them out.Now I will grab my head and touch wood so that , with this post , I don't jinx myself and they arrive. As for Flying Fox lovers I have donned my helmet, Flak Jacket and prepared for incoming but believe me it will be wasted as they are what I described them as.

    Mangos are awesome! Love them!

If it were my tree any vermin that had a go at them wouldn't last too long.
    Cheers

Thankfully the Cockies, Fruit bats and other sundry wildlife have once again finished dropping all the mangos in my back yard and the tree is at long last bare of fruit again. Can't stand mangos, the taste of the juice actually makes me physically nauseous, my wife doesn't like them either, so we just let the wild life have free reign and contemplate removing the tree from the yard.

Best thing to do with mango trees is to turn them into furniture.

There, that'll upset some of you!

Despite Derek's post there were very few tress in town here this year that had mangoes at all. Unlike other places I think it was because we did not get the usual bit of rain in the dry season. Hopefully next year

Having said that, last year was quite good.

Our tree is about half full this year but still enough. Nice.

You may not know that if you slice them and store them in small plastic containers in the freezer, they will keep fresh for upto a year or more !!!

We dont waste them and have Mango's all year round. Yummy.
The little Bird loves Mango and ice cream.
