Only two small falls S/E Coolah NSW of 7mm and 5mm so far. We are expecting more falls over the next few days though:)

Yes Martyn isn't it amazing the modern weather mob with their millions of dollars of equipment can get it wrong so many times. In my younger days there was an old German farmer in our district that got it right virtually every time using a cut up onion in the palm of his hand.
Anyone else out there who knows of someone or something similiar?
John.
Just back in Orange today. There was 65mm in the rain gauge and about another 20,000 litres in the rain water tank - what a save! :)
Well we had 2mm overnight, giving a grand total of 9mm.
It concerns me a bit, as locally it's drier than it was prior to both the 2001 and 1994 bush fires around here.
All we will need is a hot and windy day:(:(

Loganlea; 42mm Christmas day and 36mm Boxing day. If I could bottle humidity I would send some down for you.
Cucumber seeds have shot and grown 2" in those two days!
Regards
Glen
Just back here from Sydney now and have had over 3":) There are reports of over 5" in our area. Apparently Mendooran got hammered:o
Raining really good in Central Qld at the moment. I am at work so the Defender is in the covered car park so I wont be able to check the "rain gauge" when I open the doors.
We've only had an inch today; but it's still causing a few problems. The Armidale-Bundarra Rd is shut due to flooding, and we've just returned from a prang on the same road :( People really should learn to drive to the conditions....
7.30am EST. Still bucketing down in Brisbane. I have a view across the valley of Norman Creek to the hills of Toohey Forest Park on one side and to the ridge of Boggo Road gaol and the PA hospital on the other. The last few days I have not been able to see the relatively close Myer building and Villanova College at Coorparoo except in rare clear or light rain periods.
