What i would do is remove the fan assembly completely from the pump and install one large or two small thermo fans. To suck air through the radiator, runing through a thermistor so it starts and stops as required

im not sure if you're on a shoestring budget, but its food for thought


just dont forget that if you do head down this path to put in small studs into the pulley on the waterpump to run your alternator etc etc

The site survives on the good will of users who donate their time, money and other numerous resources and a few very welcome commercial advertisers. ive donated money to this site more than once, back in the day when the servers couldnt cope, my hand was in my pocket as was many others, i buy stickers and i feel i contribute although i dont have the post count of some.

Without ALL their support the place would not be what it is.

The system provides an area called Markets for people to advertise, for free, anything of interest to users. fair enough, but as i was giving it away to a certian person and not offering it up for the general public i cant see how im doing anything wrong?

There are also a Banner Advertising scheme.

THESE ARE THE ONLY PLACES WHERE YOU CAN ADVERTISE ANYTHING COMMERCIAL. i wasnt advertising anything commercial.

I will NOT TOLERATE abuse of the system by those wishing to take advantage of the userbase, without them contributing to the upkeep of the system.

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED ANYWHERE OTHER THAN IN THE MARKETS OR THE BANNER ADVERTISING SERVICE ON THE SYSTEM.

THAT MEANS :-

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED IN SIGNATURES.

NO COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING IS PERMITTED WITH IN MESSAGES in areas other than the MARKETS.

if you are in are in doubt, ask me or one of the moderators or admins for guidance.

Step over the line, you will recieve a warning, step over it again and you will have your access removed.

If you wish to push your own barrow, do it in the markets or use the banner adverts is the moral of the story...

again, all it was was an offer to a fellow LR owner, an offer of help in which i was not gaining any form of payment.
