    what engine and gearbox was fitted to this special vehicle built for the Duke of Westminster in 1979?

    It had a 4.4l V8 I believe (Rover origin?), possibly with a turbo option to move about the 12tons it must have weighed. It was an Auto, but I dont know what type.

    aye up simo and Derek,the engine was from that motoring piece of er,...... the P76, 4.4 v8 mated to a Chrysler Torqueflite three speed auto box
