    hello from another new Pom

    Just joined this site after moving over from the UK and sadly having to sell my 90 defender before my migration. However have now bought myself a 110 tdi5 so happy again. Now looking forward to exploring your amazing country.

    Welcome, you sure to find somewhere here that you find comfortable. There's a heap of expats with a warped SoH on the Skulls (blocking the rad) thread, you'd be made welcome there for a few days, then treated like normal.

    A warm welcome from another recently settled pom!!

    Where abouts are you living? There are a few Defender's around Sydney - Mine's a black 110 Double Cab (brought over from the UK).

    And thank you guys for your warm welcome. Now i will get ready for some banter as my air con decided to blow all of its fluid over the engine bay this afternoon. Not all bad, as now my beer is warm just like the UK.

    Hi GameKeeper.

    I'm not a pom (although I lived south of London down near Brighton for a couple of years), but am in Adelaide too.

    Where are you from? How come you chose Adelaide over Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane (where most of the money/jobs are)?

    welcome dont forget to get citizenship in 4 years time it'll be the best thing you ever do.
    This forum is a great lifeline..... top tip dave blknight is a god on all things landy, if he don't know he'll make it up....no seriously he is a legend and all the guys here have helped keep me sane when i needed assistance and insane with laughter the rest of the time...enjoy and if you ever come to Perth ill stick a couple of beers in the oven prior to your arrival so it's just like the old country just for the memories.
    Oh yeah forgot the most important thing don't think quid then dollar there is no point to cash conversions and this is the best country on the face of the globe.
