    Goverment subsidy

    My son who is 17 and finishing VCE next year needs a laptop. He is hearing from friends about some government subsidy.

    Any one here know anything about this.

    What is VCE???
    If its up to year 12 high school you can claim 50% of the cost of education needs ie books computers calculators etc etc on YOUR tax return,there is a cap,something like $1500 per student.
