    Price check on BFG muddies

    Hi Guys,

I've been looking around for some 255/85 BFG MT KM2's. So far best i've found them for $320 fitted and balanced.. but most places i've called have not really been interested in my business. (Either didn't have them (and didn't want to order them), or said they would call back with a price and never did)

I'm in south Sydney - any places people recommend? Are there any tyre places that support AULRO?

    Cheers,
    F

No help with recommendations, but that price is very good!

I would be surprised if you can get them any cheaper than that.

After a big ring around in Perth in December, the cheapest was $350 (not that exact size, but several similar ones).

    Flagg,

Try ringing a BFG distributor directly. I had to do that to get anywhere when I ordered my 255/85's. No one was really interested because it wasn't a stock item, mine had to come from mainland down to here, but if you get the right person it'll happen.
Try the Michelin tyres australia website, as they own BFG.

They at least might have some contact details of a competent dealer.

(Edit: Sorry forgot to mention it was the Michelin dealer in Hobart here who I ended up getting them through, they were very helpful)

Last tyres I bought were from Tyreplus at Engadine, they had a very competitive price (and I was prepared to go a fair distance to get tyres) next best price was from a place at Windsor. The manager of Engadine Tyreplus was very helpful and happy to order tyres in for me.

Give them a buzz 95207222 - I've no connection to them other than good past service.

Good price, but you wont find a lot of interest unless you go to a Michellin dealer. There's not a lot of of profit in them.

I got my BFG AT's from Tyreplus at Windsor for a good price after reading recommendations on here. 02 4577 2199 is their number.
