I have followed your progress and can well imagine your nervous situation. Been there and done that. And if you weren't nervous I'd be thinking there was something wrong. In fact I'd be thinking too cock sure and therefore doomed to failure. But I think you're going to do just fine. You seem to have exactly the right attitude to make a go of it.
I wish you all the success [and financial reward] in the world.![]()

thanks andy i will be doing that in the next few weeks
oh its nerve racking went and looked at a job the sarvo clearing and leveling a backyard should be doing it on the weekend ill post pics and how it goes for me im excited but scared lol ill be right,
just spent the last 3.5 days with a 15 tonne exclavator removing 12 ten yard tipper loads of trees (stump of one tree was a load), removed 3 loads of soil, dug up and relaid 70 metres of driveway, added 4 load of gravel, half way through the new shed site and then some cleaning for a unit on stumps. This guy is good, Ive been on the laser stick, driveway runs down 75mm over 40 metres to a drainage point and the other end drops about 50mm to the same point. Just about every time I put the laser staff on the ground he would tell me that it needed + or - by 10 or 20mm and I dont recall when his call was out, his call was by eye from the cab. Damm he was pretty to watch, just not looking foward to the bill.
Best of luck in your new path and may it give you all you seek.
cheers

Good luck with the bobcat, you should do alright in Newcastle. I have a house just out of town at Thornton and visited the area a couple of weeks ago, the area looks good, very busy, I hadn't been there for a five years and was surprised at how the Newcastle area has come along.
Cheers Gazz
