Saw it in 2d over christmas, thought it was great. It pales into insignificance when you see it in 3d at IMAX. I kept trying to waft the ash out of my line of sight with my hand.
    Well worth the experience.

Yep well worth the extra $1 for the 3d shades. Some almost vertigo moments when they are flying around.Certainly seems to have set a new bench mark for films. Was well worth the 12 years it took to be made.I`m guessing that 2d film will be soon seen to be like black and white or silent movie`s.See were Sony? already has a 3d tv and camcorder so the moves already started for 3d in the home. Can`t wait for that to happen if Avatar is any thing to go by.

I thought the 3-D effects were very cool. But the movie as a whole I thought was pretty crap. Just your typical no plot, happy ending, Hollywood blockbuster. If you're not going to see it in 3-D I'd advise not bothering to go and see it.

It sets a new standard for special effects.

As a movie it is very average.

    1973 Series III LWB 1983 - 2006
    1998 300 Tdi Defender Trayback 2006 - often fitted with a Trayon slide-on camper.

Found a new drug, called 3D. Cant wait for my next hit.

I thought the movie was good on its own. lots of underlying messages.maybe you need to go back and watch it again.

saw it at knox at the big cinema, seats over 700 I think! the movie itself was o.k but the effects were bloody good.
Oh yeah, if you ever go to that cinema, sit at the back!
