AFAIK Crown is the first pour off a Foster's run. The makers flick a valve when the specific gravity gets to a certain level, then it gets packaged as Fosters.
Flame away, but I'm pretty sure that's the way it is.
cheers, DL
well I drink coopers....the worlds best beers......and I give crownies to the freeloaders, they think its great and it stops them from drinking my coopers
I got feed up with paying the Goverment excise on beer, so started making my own, best move ever.
Very small investment for a bloody good return.
On average, $15 makes 50+ stubbies.
Stocked up on glass after the Xmas hols and now have 180 odd stubbies.

I hope you got the 2 slabs for $80 deal at Safeway Mick.
If not, go and stock up now...![]()
All Carlton and United **** tastes the same. No taste, that is. Made that way to appeal to the great unwashed majority who have no taste. My late father-in-law was wont to refer to all Carlton **** as "Surfside Sex".
If you want to pay a premium price for beer, buy a premium beer. Buy Carlsberg Elephant.

I'll drink anything but if I have a choice it's pretty much anything on offer from our friends in Tassie.
I'm quite partial to Little Creatures Pale Ale from out west too.
Most CUB beers taste the same.![]()
