the guy selling these said he took them off a '96 defender.

wheels....rims.....whats the difference between the two? hmmm......steering wheel.....you can hold the rim of the steering wheel.....can you put a tyre on a wheel? or must you put it on a wheel rim? I wheel wait with baited breath for the wheel story, wheely I wheel.

    Hey mate

I had the Rossignol alloys fitted to my Defender before I went to steel Sunraysias

They do fit on the back with the M/D flanges but you can't fit the little plastic centre caps

Will these alloy R/R fit my 93 Defender? I've got the HD drive flanges on the rear end, they have the massive 2" nut on them.
    Might be a problem??

you might put them on pootrol or toymota with that raised white lettering....but on a defender? no mate!

and they are very tight if you dont have the newer Maxi flanges that have angles taken off to accommodate the alloys.

mine are the older style maxi flanges and I caan get them on but wheels are tight to get off
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    thanks everyone

sounds like the Rangie "Rims" are not going to fit then? unless they are what you called Rossignolies or something. I would call a rim a wheel, but a tire is a tire, unless it's spelt tyre.
I've ordered some 32"x15" Maxxis Buck Shot's for myself. They'll do the trick till i get 16" rims sorted out.

Your Landy alloys will fit, Rossignols are just a particular style that were fitted to a limited edition Disco
