Mr Jones now lives in Pontypridd (pronounced Pontipreeth) in his native Wales,married to Gronwynne an old teacher training colledge flame they have a collie dog called Ivan (originaly called Ivana until someone pointed out an 'extra bit' whilst at a sheep trial near Mold) anyway he tells he is fine and doesn't misses teaching at Bramcote school,he left the teaching professon in 1975 for a more quiet life as a local pest control officer in Fishguard preferring rats to kids,I asked him how he got my phone number telling me he still keeps in touch with our old school 'wagman' (Ted Jarvis) who said he would never forget my number as it was 'chiseled' into his memeory from all my truancy mainly from old 'Jug 'eds' lessons
