Spray truck pumps the bitumen out spreader trucks drop the bluemetal on it,coat of 14mm stone then a coat of 7mm stone after another dose of bitumen.The rollers then roll it.
I took a hit for the team today and steered the tractor broom.Aircon dont work,so windows open.PUDDLEMAKER didnt keep the road wet enough.I swallowed enough orange dust today,should lay a nice orange poo in the morning.Started sweeping at 6am and didnt finish till 3.Was 43deg out there today.
Boys had a good laugh whilst we had a QUICK carton after work,never seen one dissapear so quick!!!!I told them it was my descision to steer the thing and will delegate on the next job!!!!
We didnt get finished,2.1km done 2 coates,900m to do tommorow.

When they were resealing part of the road between Marble Bar and Woody they were removing the old bitch of mine. I lightheartedly asked, per UHF, if they were lifting the road and sending it back to Perth for repairs, They obviously don't get Queensland SOH.
