It doesn't work like that.

They have removed around 800 posts from this thread but the way they did it didn't update the post counter - so the thread still thinks there are ~3813 posts here when, in fact, there are only ~3013

The quickest way to fix it would be for them to create a new thread and copy all the current posts in here to the new thread and then hide this thread. Rename the new thread and soft-delete the first post - and then it would be a clone of this one with the correct post count.

lern new stuff every day if wee fill out the pages with rubish would that work????

nup - cos the bit that does the counting still thinks those other ~800 posts are still here.

If there was enough interest we could always open another thread and just let this one die off.

That is probably what Inc is hoping we will do
