Something to ponder
I'm just thinking out load here... but...
I think Gove might have more Puma's per capita than anywhere else in the country. We have about a 1 in 1000 ownership. Given there are now 4 in town and we have a population of around 4000.
Or to put that in terms of Melbourne or Sydney it would mean that Land Rover had sold in excess of 1000 units in each capital city since 2007. Since we have a 2007, two 2008's and a 2009 model.
Doing a quick count of other Landies:
3 RRC's
3 SIII's
3 Counties
13 Tdi and Td5 Defenders
11 Tdi and Td5 D1's and D2's
4 Pumas

That's the one's I can think of and I know I've missed some. So even though this is Toyota country by shear numbers we have almost 1% of the population in a Land Rover. In fact it gets better because if you look at the ABS figures about 55% of the population is of a driving age so that means about 1 in 550 people drive a Land Rover.
Unfortunately we have no new D3's, D4's or FL2's or RRS as there is no close support for Land Rover products.
Now tell me why you don't have a service agent here anymore Land Rover Australia and whether you would be able to sell your product in remote regions?
