No more propellant in the cans.
I've got 2 cans of WD 40 that don't want to spray anymore.
Both not more than say 2 years old.
The liquid doesn't even dribble out just a few drops

The propellant is gone (leaked out) but if there is a decent amount of liquid still in the can you can (carefully!!) open the can and collect it.
WD40 is essentially fishoil. It shouldn't go off.
You can also use a little bit of compressed air to pump up the cans again, just watch you don't get a faceful...
I find that storage in hot conditions ie my shed causes this to happen as well, also i lose a lot of detergents and degreasers, they just bubble out of the bottle top no matter how tight the lid.

It wont go off, Ive had this happen a lot here. Put some eye protection on and give it a quick snort with the air blower when you want to use it.![]()
