PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (Jan. 19, 2010) Marines from Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU), depart an MV-22 Osprey on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4). The 24th MEU Marines are embarked aboard vessels assigned to the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group on a six-month deployment.



PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (Jan. 22, 2010) Sailors unload meals-ready-to-eat delivered by Marines assigned to 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), at the Port-au-Prince International Airport in Port-au-Prince. The 22nd MEU delivered food and supplies supporting humanitarian assistance and relief operations for Operaiton Unified Response following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010.

ACU-1 embarked aboard Essex for the ship's annual spring patrol throughout the western Pacific region.
