Evening all.
I was looking at purchasing a new cubby box the variety that is all steel construction, has a secure pod for your radio and still has cup holders.
now as i know the product from the Land Rover shows in the U.K. i thought i would contact Mobile storage, their bespoke Landy storage is second to none......turns out that pamala and Nigel may know some of the guys on here as they used to do competitions around Alice.
I included their return email from my enquiry as it may jog someones memory.
Although at the time i would suggest that it would have been a forum magazine oppossed to the internet.

No it wouldn't be a good idea to give us a visit to have a look at our products (well it might be a good idea, but an expensive one at that).

As you know the price of the carriage and packing is not cheap. The best way for me to send, is by our postal system and the cost would be £137.39

Back in the early '70's believe it or not we were some of the original members of the Land Rover Owners Club in Western Australia.

In 1971 the club (including us) met all the LR clubs around Australia in Alice Springs, we all took the most direct route across the deserts. We went across to Warburton Mission and came back across the Gun Barrell Highway - it was in the days when there were no 'phones, sat navs or the like, quite a primitive route back then.

We held off-roading competitions near to Ayres Rock (can't remember exact location), and I was the overall Ladies winner. Don't know if you still have some original members, if so, they may remember us - Nigel and Pamala Walker - we were 20 & 23 years old at the time, had an old Series 11A '88. Be good to know if there is anyone we might remember.
