Your concrete Dilemma??? .... Mate, Just whack down a timber floating click lock floating floor ... I've got the German stuff that cost's about $17 SQM and it stands up to sand / water & Mud ... No prob's .... If ya do that then you can get on with the fitout

Polished floors can be such a PITA when they don't go right .....

In WA, Building permits means get it up to lockup .... No permit required for fitout .... Heck, Councils don't even inspect when it's finished

You boys do it tough over there, for "Permits" .....

Back to the polishing. Anyone got a ballpark figure per sqm on polishing - I wouldn't mind getting the garage done. (No I don't want floating floor under my landy just something a little smoother on the elbows.)

Sorry but floating floor is the last thing i'd put down (well lino is the last), they just don't look real, if i wanted a timber looking floor i'd have put down a timber floor.
So thats still not helping my delema

Originally it was going to cost me $4,400 to do about 140sqm, but now that i've built a house on the slab, it'll probably cost more

personally I use a polymer sealer and polish rather than an epoxy or 2 pot, just for no other reason than you cant fix an epoxy with out sanding or grinding as well as you cant polish or burnish it.
