the clerks have their sleeves rolled up,
    the officer is the female
the 5 remaining blokes are the GSE staff
the 3 of those wearing sunglasses are the vehicle mechanics
the 2 GSE staff not wearing sunglasses are the fitters
the 2 blokes with their correctly dressed (sleeves down) and standing correctly at ease are the 2 ex AJ's

    so

    #1 is a vehicle mechanic
    #2 is a vehicle mechanic
    #3 is a fitter
#4 is an ex AJ and a vehicle mechanic
all of those are also part of the GSE staff
    #5 is the officer
    #6 Clerk
    #7 Clerk
#8 Ex AJ Fitter and also part of GSE staff.

I'm disappointed that you use the term "aj" for soldiers. For those that dont know, RAAF personnel call soldiers 'army jerks...aj's " I'm sure if you called any soldier returning from Afghanistan an "aj" your life would be shortened. When I was a soldier and got called an "aj" I would usually belt that person. It is derogatory term for a highly trained and skilled and highly disciplined soldier in our defence force. I wish you wouldnt use the term and know that are many ex soldiers reading this who are also offended by it.
