thank you for your replies,but I got mine playing railways with my friends son Clydebank who asked me to be a 'bridge' with the track running over my finger nails and after the Flying Scotsman the Mallard and a goods train pulled by Stanier 8f I think we all woukd have had ridges worn into them by the sleepers.

ps the scale was ho-oo.
