    Hi Canberrans

    I am over in Canberra at the moment having been offered a very tempting temporary position with work. I will probably be applying to be made permanent so could be here for a while. I know there are one or two others here....

    I'll be pretty busy over the next few weeks and don't have the Defender here yet but once I get settled I'll be looking for trips etc, plus no doubt advice on things like parts suppliers and servicing agents.

    Tony, welcome to Canberra.

    This weekend (Feb 13 and 14) is the 2010 4WD Spectacular and Outdoor Recreation Show at Queanbeyan Showground. Call out and visit us at the Land Rover Club tent and I am sure there will be other Defender owners within earshot, who can help. I get parts for club members, so if you know what you need I can probably help.

    I'll be in the Demo area in a glow shirt (shirt comes with the job!), so if you do no good with the club tent, I'll be able to point you in the right direction.
