    I had a Rav 4 run up my back end just before Xmas. She smashed off the tow bar straight out of the chassis. Cost $3800 to fix my car.

    The panel that popped off, was actually due to be replaced under warranty the next day as it was loose. This is why it popped off as i had stuck on with sticky tape.

    Its a solid metal bar right behind the bumper. Smart design! Wish they did it to the front as well.
