The ol JokeR is falling out of 4x4ing WHY???

    Weird.......Really weird....

Dont know whats happening to me but i feel like i'm falling away from the whole LR 4x4 scene

I dont know if its just that i'm not getting out as much as i want to OR i'm spending too much money on my rig just to go and bust her up again i could not tell ya!!!! Could it be things happening around me and keeping me from doind things like going camping or going for a drive?????

Thing is i dont want to get away from this love of LR's or going out with some great people from this forum. Will be putting in a EGT gauge maybe this weekend or early monday so i can muck around with the injector pump so i'm hoping it will boost me back up there again BUT i dont wanna go!!!!!

Are there any LR psychologist's out there that i can visit????

4wding is not a cheap hobby

You need an Isuzu County, it's a much more forgiving vehicle. My D2 was costing on average $1000+ every time I went out.

Tony once summed it up perfectly when he told me "Go buy a Commodore or shut up and fix it"

I recon it's the weather, it's just been too hot to do anything!
I spent the last 2 days sweating like a pig doing a FULL service on the missuses wee car (just out of warrantee, so I can now touch it.
Since we have had it it's been in for 2 minor ($600) and one major($1000) service.
I thought I'd do everything that is in a major, minor, and 4 year service just to be sure everything is well.
    Now the interesting bit:
The auto should have 4.5 litres in it, it had 2.5, and was as rusty brown as I've ever seen.
The sparkplugs have never been done,
The air filter was filthy(never done),
Fuel filter still had factory crimp joints on it,
Pollen filter for aircon was filthy.

Not impressed by the Mercedes Benz dealership that we have given over $2400!!
At least now I know it's done properly.

    Rant over!

torque convertor doesn't drain, you can get it pumped out and replenished through the oil cooler at a mechanic with the right equipment

I do believe we all have those experiences from time to time.

I booked my Disco in to fix a leak on transfer case and get handbrake working again and they did everything but.
Do you think i was impressed.

Oh, by the way-Pigs don't sweat-No sweat glands.

Some days are good some are better and some are great. Remember to live and don't sweat the small stuff, in time to come, you will laugh it off.

Soon your rig be top notch and no more money spend for ages.
