Hi - sorry if this has been posted already...

As most know Sandy Cape has been off limits due to the disappearance (into the sea) of the Nkagala track - affectionately know as "The Sand Pit"

Well, the local residents have (I understand illegally) cut a new track .
This new track is not approved by World Heritage, Native Title, EPA or anyone else with official interest in the Island but National Parks Rangers are using it to get to the Northern most camp ground because it is again being used. Be interesting to see how long this lasts But for now Sandy Cape is back on our calendar.
