bit different in your case you are actually a pro recovery company not just a fellow offroader driving past
You where a company which people actually called so they new they where going to get charged
you a exception to my rant

On a trip with LROCB once (in one of the 4x4 club only state forests I think - maybe clear mtn?) we came to the bottom of a steep rutted hill only to find an old hilux flopped over at the top. They had no recovery gear. We used 2 hand winches - one to hold them in position and the second to flip them back over - then the first again to lower them down safely.
We did all the work while they stood and watched.
Not a word of thanks...

What he ^ said.
Got to be careful that you don't intimidate people, it is bad enough they have got themselves in the ***** and are probably feeling very sheepish.
I only have a handwinch and a snatch strap so I would set things up show them how and let them pump that handle.
Whilst on Fraser, on Christmas day, we recovered some German tourists. After 2hrs of digging, pushing and burning our feet we got them free. Had to use our shovels, shackles, straps and vehicle to recover them.
We did not ask for anything except a group shot, post recovery.
They gave us some money and half a case of cold ones. We gladly accepted the cold cans off beer and tried to refuse the money, but they would not hear of it. Gladly recover them any day. Nice helpful people.
