Land rovers of the world
With the Dollar quite strong I have been searching far and wide for that special vehicle. Possibly a range rover TDV6 or more than likely a Disco 3 to replace the wifes Disco2 (99 model, manual with 130,000 km on it). I can't see any real bargains on ebay.co.uk, and ebay.com is all left had drives. Ebay Japan is an interesting site and takes some time copying and pasting into a translator only to find that the vehicle of interest is Left hand drive and resides in the USA. I thought Japan were RHD vehicles?? The dollar conversion is quite favourable though but am yet to find a Land rover in Japan.
What country would you go looking for a bargain and what are the ADR (Australian design rules) pitfalls I am likely to run into? Is there anything to look out for like the radio frequencies out of whack with Australia.

I think the biggest limitation you will find is that you can't import a vehicle that is sold already in Australia, it has to be a significantly different model not sold in Aus as far as I know (stand to be corrected) without significant and expensive workarounds.

Well that kind of puts a spanner in the works. Hmm, may a G4 Rangie would get through though.
