Thread: sorry, another dumb question.

Thanks for the previous advice, so now i am looking for a late 90's 300tdi in carpoint but none of the ads say if it is a 300 tdi - am i to assume that the 4 cyl 2.5 diesel is a 300 tdi.

Generally true Wal - early defenders are 200tdi (pre 1994?) but the td5 didn't start til 1999

Be careful with carpoint as often it will default to 4cyl 2.5 then you read the fine print and the owner may have put in a different motor.(Say a V8 petrol)
Worthwhile asking the question when you contact them.
