hahahaaha brilliant. I remember once when I was rock climbing, about 40 metres or so up a quarry wall when a dog fell past me. Had ran straight off the top of the quarry. Amazingly the dog only dislocated a joint or two and was fine.

My father-in-law's dog was not so lucky. As a kid his ran off a quarry wall in "Norn Iron" and didn't make it

I cannot understand how the high tide can make adiference?
Are the tides up there "the mother of all king tides" ?

Maybe the incoming tide had covered up rocks etc so as to cushion the fall somewhat......hell of a drop to survive though even into water.

The Cocker we used to have did this twice off of jetties. At least it was only a drop of no more than 4 metres but it still gave us both a scare.

Spaniels... lovely dogs in all their forms but you have to pay extra for the brain cell.
